Job overview

Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi is seeking an inspirational Head of Prep School to start in August 2026. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Central Leadership Team of Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi as it seeks to become one of the region’s leading all-through schools (from Pre-Nursery to Year 13).

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding leader to drive the academic, pastoral and co-curricular provision in a school where curiosity, kindness and innovation are its priority. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing a world-class education for the school’s youngest learners. They must be a committed team player who has a passion, expertise and ambition to deliver the highest quality of teaching and learning.

Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi is the second Brighton College school to open in Bangkok. The school opened in August 2025, in brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities with a pupil community of just under 550 pupils from Pre-Nursery to Year 13. The school enjoys excellent relationships with its sister school, Brighton College Bangkok in Krungthep Kreetha, Brighton College UK and with the family of Brighton College schools around the world.

The candidate appointed to this role will report to the Head of College, Mr Crispian Waterman, and will line-manage the Prep Leadership Team. The Prep School includes Pre-Nursery (2+ years) to Year 6, with pupils then moving into the Senior School at Year 7. The Prep School is thriving, with year groups expected to grow beyond the three form entry currently operating for most year groups. Consequently, the Head of Prep is expected to work closely with the Head of Admissions to drive pupil numbers across all age phases.

This position represents a career-defining, professional challenge for a leader who is excited by the opportunity

of working in a growing school. The successful candidate should also be enthused by the opportunities for both teacher and pupil collaboration across the Brighton

College network of schools. This is supported by the Brighton College International Prep Heads' Conference which, run biennially, enhances partnership and

professional development for Prep leaders (hosted in Dubai, 2025).

As with all Brighton College teaching posts, the successful candidate will share our aim of developing well-educated, respectful, and curious young men and women ready to take a full, active and positive role in the world.
