
King’s College International School Bangkok is a King’s College School Wimbledon International School. We opened in September 2020 for boys and girls and now cater for over 1,500 students aged 2 –18 in Early Years to Year 13, offering IGCSEs, A levels and pathways to the world’s best universities.

The school wishes to appoint an outstanding Head of Mathematics to be responsible for maintaining the highest of standards in this leading department. The candidate for this post must be exemplary in professionalism and educational practice.
The Head of Mathematics will be expected to provide this department with dynamic and creative leadership and will have the ability to motivate and support pupils and colleagues. They will be passionate about instilling a curiosity for learning and will engage pupils in the subject within and outside of the classroom. A visible passion for Mathematics is essential. The senior school enters students into IGCSE Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and later the IAL Mathematics and IAL Further Mathematics. Our students enter a huge range of competitions, including the World Mathematics Championships, UKMT Mathematical challenges (Junior, Intermediate and Senior), British Mathematical Olympiad, the AMC amongst other local competitions. Our students are ambitious, and they value the additional support the school offers for these prestigious competitions.
Since 2020 we have grown rapidly and this is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who will inspire, set the highest of standards and build systems to ensure that as we continue to grow we set the scene for future excellence.
This position will also play an active role in the co-curricular and pastoral aspects of the school with the opportunity of being a form tutor for the right candidate.
