Job Title: Head of Foreign Staff
Start Date: May 2026
The Head of foreign staff provides academic leadership for the international teaching team to ensure high-quality instruction aligned with the
school’s personalized learning model and international standards. The role focuses on maintaining instructional coherence, implementing Individual
Development Plans (IDPs) within classroom practice, aligning curriculum across secondary levels, ensuring consistent assessment practices, and supporting
student readiness for international university pathways. The position also promotes collaboration between Thai and international faculty while driving
data-informed improvement in teaching and learning.
In addition, the position plays a key role in strengthening collaboration between Thai and international faculty and representing the school in
engagements with parents and external stakeholders during admissions events and major school activities.
Role Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the foreign teaching faculty to ensure consistent instructional quality and alignment with the school’s academic framework.
• Support the effective implementation of the Cambridge curriculum and progression into Advanced Placement or other international academic pathways.
• Ensure Individual Development Plans (IDPs) are integrated into teaching practices and regularly reviewed to support student growth and differentiation.
• Promote consistent assessment standards and monitor student progress in CEFR benchmarks, Cambridge assessments, and indicators of AP readiness.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and classroom observations to support professional development and instructional improvement among international teachers.
• Facilitate collaboration between Thai and international faculty to strengthen cross-cultural teamwork and shared academic expectations.
• Support academic initiatives that prepare students for university admission through portfolio development, project work, and rigorous academic standards.
• Serve as a school representative in admissions events, parent meetings, and school activities, communicating the school’s academic approach and programs to prospective families and stakeholders.
• Provide classroom coverage, particularly in mathematics and physics, to ensure continuity of learning when teachers are unavailable.
• Participate in leadership meetings, contribute to instructional planning, and support the recruitment and onboarding of foreign teaching staff.
