At Coaching English, we believe learning should be fun, practical, and focused on communication. You will join a creative and supportive team that designs games, activities, and real-world speaking experiences to help students build confidence in English.

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Head of English Department to lead and develop our teaching team while maintaining high academic and instructional standards.

This position combines academic leadership, teacher management, curriculum development, administration, and approximately 15 teaching hours per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Teacher Management and Development
Supervise, support, and develop the teaching team.
Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
Coordinate teacher orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training.
Identify professional development needs and organize appropriate training.
Monitor teacher performance and support contract renewal evaluations.
Support recruitment, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters when required.
Ensure teachers and staff follow child safeguarding and protection policies.
 
Academic and Curriculum Management
Review and develop the English curriculum together with the curriculum team.
Develop and review lesson plans in line with academic standards.
Monitor teaching quality and ensure lessons meet established standards and expectations.
Establish student assessment criteria and support examination development.
Monitor student progress and create appropriate support plans where necessary.
Provide classroom teaching or substitute teaching when required.
Oversee teaching materials, educational media, digital tools, activities, and assigned academic events.
 
Communication and Coordination
Coordinate with English Program school representatives and respond to feedback.
Act as a key communication link between management and the teaching team.
Support the resolution of parent concerns related to teaching, teacher conduct, or student academic progress.
Provide regular updates and reports to management.
Represent Coaching English at assigned meetings, activities, and events.
 
Operations and Department Development
Assist with resolving academic and operational issues.
Provide guidance and identify solutions during urgent or challenging situations.
Prepare annual department goals and improvement plans in line with organizational objectives.

WORKING SCHEDULE
5 working days per week.
2 days off during weekdays.
The center operates between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Employees work 8 hours per day on a flexible schedule within the center's operating hours.
Approximately 15 teaching hours per week.
