Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi is seeking an inspirational Head of Early Years to lead and develop its provision from Pre-Nursery to Reception.
Reporting to the Head of Prep, the successful candidate will establish a clear and ambitious vision for outstanding Early Years education, ensuring that Curiosity, Confidence and Kindness are embedded throughout the curriculum, learning environment and culture.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional Early Years practitioner with a deep understanding of the EYFS, purposeful play, continuous provision and high-quality adult interaction. They will lead teaching, learning and assessment, with particular responsibility for early language, literacy, phonics and reading.
They will inspire and develop the Early Years team, ensure outstanding pastoral care and build strong relationships with parents. They will also support admissions and marketing activities and lead Bright Start, the College’s parent-and-toddler programme.
A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification.
Significant Early Years teaching and leadership experience.
A deep understanding of the EYFS, assessment and progression.
Strong knowledge of early language, literacy, phonics and reading.
A proven ability to improve teaching and develop staff.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and outstanding pastoral care.
Experience in a high-quality British or international school is desirable.
