
Sriwittayapaknam School is recruiting 'Head of Academic Affairs'
Job Objectives
- Ensure Academic Excellence: Maintain and enhance the overall quality of students' academic performance to ensure they meet and exceed the school's established benchmarks.
- Academic Programs Implementation: Implement the ‘Reading and Writing program’ in collaboration with the school’s Listening and Speaking program to create a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
- Teacher Supervision: Supervise and coordinate with foreign teachers on all academic duties throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
Routine Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Conduct monthly lesson observations (full lessons) across all grade levels to ensure teachers consistently meet the school's expectations. This includes evaluating:
- Lesson delivery and effectiveness.
- The thoroughness of each classroom teacher’s marking and correction of student workbooks, including 'Let's Go' workbooks, creative writing books, and notebooks.
- Monitor and observe student engagement and confidence levels during class.
- Performance Monitoring: Organize and facilitate regular meetings with foreign teachers by grade level to monitor their progress and strategize how to achieve the school's academic benchmarks.
- Assessments: Conduct random quality assessments and student testing to verify that they are performing at the required benchmarks.
- Classroom Engagement: Teach and have direct contact time with students for at least one full lesson per term in each grade level.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive reports, including:
- Weekly executive summaries.
- Minutes from all meetings.
- End-of-term summaries for each class.
- Performance Reviews: Participate in a termly 'Performance Meeting' with the management team to present a summary of each class's progress and give recommendations on how to improve.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities
- Program Management: Oversee the successful execution of the Writing and Reading Program.
- Professional Development: Provide coaching and mentorship to foreign teachers who require additional support.
- Training & Development: Plan and conduct upskilling sessions on topics that will improve the overall quality of teaching.
- Other Duties: Undertake any additional tasks as requested by the school administration.
About the School
Sriwittayapaknam School is located in Samut Prakan, Thailand, approximately 30 kilometers south of Bangkok, with convenient access via the Paknam BTS Station.
Job Prerequisites
Applicant Requirements:
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Proven track record in teaching experience, preferably in Thailand.
- Experience in academic leadership is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any field is the minimum educational requirement; a degree in Education is preferred. Please provide an authentic copy of your academic transcript and diploma.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Contract starting November 1st, 2025
- Starting salary of 30,000 THB per month, with potential for an increase based on qualifications and experience.
- Housing allowance.
- The school will cover all Visa and Work Permit fees after the successful candidate's arrival.
A 12-month contract, including six weeks of paid holiday.
