
Grade 4 Homeroom Teacher
The Grade 4 Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow academically, socially, and emotionally. This role includes teaching core subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, while integrating critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration into daily lessons. The teacher serves as the primary point of contact for students and parents, guiding learners through key transitions in upper elementary school.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Certification: Valid teaching license/certification for elementary education.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the elementary level, preferably in upper primary grades.
Instructional Skills: Experience with differentiated instruction, inquiry-based learning.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build strong partnerships with students, families, and colleagues.
Professionalism: Commitment to ongoing professional development, mindfulness practice, and collaboration within a school community.
