The Thai Japanese Association School, Bangkok Campus, is recruiting 2 teachers for an April 1, 2026 start for the following positions:
- Grade 2 English (Phonics) / Physical Education Teacher
- Junior High English Teacher
Our Bangkok campus serves nearly 2,500 Japanese students and is the largest Japanese school outside Japan. We offer a highly organized, well-resourced, and culturally rich working environment with excellent support and long-term stability.
Compensation & Benefits:
-Monthly package (salary + allowances): 80,000–90,000 THB (based on Japanese proficiency)
-Completion bonus equal to 200% of one month’s salary

Junior High School English Teacher:
-Deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons
-Teach integrated speaking, listening, reading, and writing
-Plan lessons aligned to school curriculum
-Assess student progress and provide feedback
-Maintain academic records
-Participate in school events and activities
-Contribute to curriculum development
Grade 2 English (Phonics) / Physical Education Teacher:
Physical Education Focus:
-This role combines early literacy and movement-based learning.
-Teach fundamental movement skills (running, jumping, balancing, throwing, catching)
-Develop body control, coordination, and spatial awareness
-Deliver structured, safe, age-appropriate PE lessons
-Use clear routines and strong safety practices
-Build teamwork, turn-taking, cooperation, and positive behavior through structured games and group activities
-Use pair and small-group activities to promote communication, fairness, and mutual support
-Give simple, effective physical instruction in English
English (Phonics) Focus:
-Strong knowledge of phonics (vowels, blends, digraphs)
-Teach blending, segmenting, and decoding
-Model clear English pronunciation
-Support early spelling and word-building
-Follow Oxford Phonics World Book 2 pacing
Required Qualifications:
-Native English speaker (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland)
-Bachelor’s degree in Education, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
-Valid teaching license or QTS (or Thai teaching license)
-Original academic documents required
-Clean criminal background check
