We are seeking a dedicated and experienced in French to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and literature, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of fostering a positive learning environment.
Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with the established curriculum.
Teach French language and literature to students in middle and secondary classes (Grades 6 and 10).
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Prepare classroom for class activities.
Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.
Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and
Prepare required reports on students and activities.
Participate in department meetings, school meetings, parent meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in French or a related field from a recognised university.
Diploma in French
Proven teaching experience, preferably as a French Teacher.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications or training in education or related fields.
Experience with innovative teaching methods and use of technology in the classroom.
Participation in continuous professional development programs.
