Thai Singapore International School, located in Samut Prakan and accessible by skytrain from Bangkok, is currently looking for two qualified Filipino educators to join their expanding team. The school is in search of one Filipino Art teacher and one Filipino Primary Science teacher, both of whom must be available to start by the 1st of August. Applicants should have a strong background in education, with relevant degrees and teaching experience.
The Filipino Art teacher applicant must submit an art portfolio as part of the application process. Both positions require fluency in English and possession of academic documents that are CAV-certified, apostilled, and legalized by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These qualifications are mandatory for employment and visa processing in Thailand.
For both roles, the basic monthly salary starts at THB 25,000. In addition, there is a housing allowance of THB 2,000. Teachers with prior experience can receive an extra THB 1,000 per year of relevant experience, up to a maximum of five years. Those holding a relevant master’s degree are entitled to an additional THB 3,000 monthly.
Teachers who possess a valid 5-year Krusapa license from Thailand will also receive an extra THB 3,000 per month. Furthermore, upon completing the contract, teachers are eligible for an end-of-contract bonus of THB 15,000. A 5% salary increment is given annually as part of the compensation package.
The minimum monthly salary, excluding bonuses, comes to at least THB 27,000. The school also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and accident insurance, free lunch during workdays, and free document processing for legal requirements.
Teachers will be working with a manageable class size of no more than 25 students and are expected to teach no more than 20 hours per week. All classrooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, a computer, projector, speaker system, and internet connection. Additionally, free teaching materials and stationery are supplied.
