Early Years Teacher
RBIS International School, Bangkok
RBIS International School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our Early Years team. The successful candidate will be passionate about play-based learning, committed to supporting young children’s development through exploration and continuous provision, and able to create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment where children feel safe, confident and inspired to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Early Years learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a stimulating play-based learning environment where children develop independence, curiosity and confidence.
- Design and manage a classroom with effective continuous provision, ensuring resources support exploration, creativity and child-led learning.
- Observe children carefully and use assessment for learning to inform next steps and support individual development.
- Monitor and track children’s progress through ongoing observation and formative assessment.
- Foster strong relationships with children and families, ensuring clear communication about learning, development and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively as part of the Early Years and Primary team, contributing positively to planning, events and wider school initiatives.
- Support children’s social, emotional and communication development through nurturing relationships and positive behaviour guidance.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment for all children.

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Follow all school safeguarding policies and procedures, reporting any concerns appropriately.
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct and ensure a safe learning environment where all children feel secure and supported.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will:

Hold a relevant teaching qualification (Early Childhood / EYFS / Primary).

Have proven experience teaching in an Early Years setting.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of play-based learning and continuous provision.

Have knowledge of assessment for learning and formative assessment practices in Early Years.

Be a collaborative team player, able to work closely with colleagues and support staff.

Be passionate about supporting children’s holistic development, including social, emotional and communication skills.

Show strong organisational skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
