Full-Time ESL Teacher & PBL Coach
School: Séquoia Nova International Primary School (Bangkok)
Séquoia Nova is seeking a motivated full-time ESL Teacher & PBL Coach to work with French learners preparing for entry into international secondary schools. The role combines ESL instruction (language acquisition, literacy, academic English) and Project-Based Learning (PBL) coaching in an immersive, bilingual environment.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Start Date: ASAP
- Type: Full-time, fixed-term contract
- Salary: 35,000 THB per month
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant teaching field
- Valid teaching diploma/certification from country of origin
- Proven experience teaching ESL at primary/early secondary level
- Experience with or strong interest in Project-Based Learning
- Non-native speakers are welcome to apply
- Passionate, adaptable, and able to support learners transitioning to international school standards
Responsibilities:
- Teach English as a Second Language (phonics, reading, writing, speaking, listening) to learners aged 6-11
- Support French learners in acquiring the academic English skills required for international school entry
- Act as a PBL coach: guide learners through inquiry-based projects, encourage collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking
- Design lessons and activities aligned with international curriculum standards (CCSS / NGSS exposure is a plus)
Collaborate with the bilingual teaching team to ensure learner progress
