Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School (CUD) is seeking energetic and passionate teachers who are looking for a long-term career opportunity to become a part of the English Program. CUD also looks for applicants with positive-minded, creative and a strong understanding of modern student-centered teaching practices. CUD is offering Mathematics and Science classes taught in English which follow The Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008)
1 position available:
Mathematics Specialized in Algebra, Geometry, Functions, Statistics,
Probability or Calculus (Grades 7-12)
*Based on the IGCSE Curriculum
Qualifications:
1. Native Speakers of English (RP/GA): UK, US, AUS, NZ, Canada or Western Europe.
2. Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) from a recognized institution and have some teaching experience.
3. Have a degree in the specified subject area. A degree in Education, PGCE, or a postgraduate diploma in education or teaching profession is preferable.
4. Have a teaching license from another country or the license issued by Teachers’ Council of Thailand is a plus. Or have been granted a temporary
teaching permit from Teachers’ Council of Thailand of not more than 2 times.
5. Hard worker who views teaching as a profession.
Duties:
1. Homeroom teacher duties.
2. Take part and assist in all school activities.
3. 18 (50 min) periods per week with approx. 30-35 students per class
4. Work with a partner/co-teacher (Thai nationality).
5. Prepare teaching materials
