The Thai-Japanese Association School, Bangkok Campus, is now accepting applications for Primary and Junior High English Teaching Positions beginning April 1, 2026.
Located in the heart of Bangkok, our campus serves nearly 2,500 Japanese students and employs over 150 teachers, making it the largest Japanese school outside Japan.

Compensation and Benefits
• Monthly compensation (salary + allowances): 80,000–90,000 THB, depending on Japanese language proficiency.
• Completion bonus: Equivalent to 200% of one month’s salary.
• Provident fund: The school matches teacher contributions up to 3%, payable upon contract completion.
• Paid leave: 40 days of annual paid vacation, in addition to Thai national holidays.
• Airfare: Provided for candidates residing outside Thailand.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality English instruction through well-structured, engaging, and student-centered lessons that promote communication, critical thinking, and confidence in language use
• Design, plan, and implement creative learning experiences that integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills across various themes and proficiency levels.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives, ensuring lessons are purposeful and outcomes-driven.
• Assess and monitor student progress using both formal and informal methods; provide timely, constructive feedback to support individual growth and learning goals.
• Maintain accurate academic and attendance records in accordance with school policies, ensuring transparency and accountability in reporting.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and cooperation among students of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities.
• Participate actively in school life, including assemblies, cultural events, and extracurricular activities, demonstrating a collaborative and community-oriented mindset.
• Contribute to curriculum review and improvement, offering insights and suggestions to strengthen the English program’s quality and coherence.
• Uphold the school’s values and professional standards in communication, punctuality, and commitment to students’ success.
Required Qualifications
• Native English speaker holding a valid passport from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education from an accredited university (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, GDipEd, M.Ed., etc.).
• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or a valid teaching license from your home country, or a Thai teaching license valid through the contract term.
• Ability to provide original academic documents, including degrees, transcripts, teaching licenses, and a university-issued letter verifying enrollment dates and awarded degrees.
• Clean criminal background check from your home country or country of residence.
