NES English Language Teacher
Part-Time NES Teacher
Base Salary: Max 30,000 THB per month (based on experience and qualifications)
Working Hours: Sat-Sun 9.30am-5.30pm (maximum 6 teaching hours/day)
Contract: 1-year contract with the opportunity for a KPI bonus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Teach English (General English, Business English, and IELTS) to students at various levels, from beginner to advanced, following Hysan Edu’s curriculum and teaching methodology.
2. Create and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that follow the principles of Active, Authentic, and Applicable learning.
3. Lead interest-based clubs that align with students’ goals and enhance language use in real-life contexts.
4. Work closely with Course In-Charge (IC) teachers to monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and support course development.
5. Conduct placement interviews to assess new students’ proficiency and ensure accurate class placement.
6. Assess student performance through class projects, level tests, and language checkpoints.
7. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes community learning in line with Hysan Edu’s 3C framework.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
9. Actively participate in professional development workshops, teacher meetings, and campus activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Native English speaker (passport holder from the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or South Africa).
2. Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education, TESOL, or related fields preferred).
3. Teaching experience, especially with ESL learners, is preferred.
4. TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification is an advantage.
5. Be able to teach adolescents and adults (13+).
6. Energetic, patient, and passionate about teaching.
7. Willingness to adapt to the local culture and work in a multicultural environment.
