Two full-time English Language Specialists are required to teach English language courses to SIT undergraduates, postgraduates, and staff.
Full description:
The successful applicants will be
- young, fun, enthusiastic, non-smoking English native speakers with EAP/EFL experience in Thailand, a master’s degree in TEFL/TESOL/ELT, an international TEFL/TESOL certificate, and a valid TOEIC score of at least 850 or CEFR Level C2
- competent in using IT-equipped classrooms with classes of 25-30 undergraduate/postgraduate students
- experienced in online teaching, in material and course re/design, and in working with a small, proactive professional team of colleagues
- able to edit academic texts, and
- able to do a full-time job, 30 hours a week.
Salary and conditions
- 35-50,000 baht/month + 8,000 baht/month for accommodation; medical insurance; work permit; 10 days business leave; 15 days medical leave; and Thai public holidays
- classes are 2–3-hour sessions and a maximum of 12 hours of teaching time per week
