Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students
Creating and implementing lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum
Preparing and marking assignments, tests, and exams
Providing timely feedback and support to students to help them improve their skills and achieve their learning objectives
Collaborating with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
Participating in extracurricular activities such as school events, trips, and clubs
Keeping up-to-date with developments in the subject area, teaching resources, and methods.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
Teaching certification and/or a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, etc.)
Experience teaching English at the secondary school level in a British curriculum school
Strong command of the English language
Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with EAL learners is an advantage
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive learning environment.
