English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher

Australian International School Bangkok – Soi 20 Campus
Start Date: August 2026
Contract: Full-time, school-year contract

The Australian International School Bangkok (AISB) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher to join our Soi 20 Campus team, supporting Early Years students from PreK2 to Year 1.

The successful applicant will deliver high-quality English language support programs for students whose first language is not English, ensuring learners can successfully access the Australian Early Years and Primary Curriculums, and develop confidence in their communication, academic language, and social participation within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
-Deliver small-group EAL interventions and in-class support
-Support students across Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing
-Collaborate with classroom teachers to scaffold learning and differentiate curriculum content
-Assess and track student language development and progress
-Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support needs
-Foster student wellbeing, confidence, and successful transition into an English-speaking learning environment
-Work collaboratively within a multicultural school community

Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
-Recognised Teaching Qualification
-TESOL / TEFL / EAL qualification (minimum 120hr certification)
-Experience teaching EAL learners, ideally within an international or Australian Curriculum setting
-Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
-Commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practices
