Job Title:
Grade 1 - 4 Primary Teacher

Location: Vishwajyot High School, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: The Grade 2 Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of young students. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons, assess student progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure each child’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Planning & Delivery:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to engage students and support their learning.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and motivation.

Assessment & Evaluation:
Assess and evaluate student performance through regular tests, quizzes, assignments, and observations.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and report findings to parents and school administration.


Classroom Management:
Establish and maintain clear rules and procedures to manage student behavior effectively.
Address and resolve conflicts or behavioral issues in a constructive manner.
Create and maintain a safe and organized learning environment.


Student Support & Development:
Support the social, emotional, and academic needs of students through individualized attention and intervention.
Foster a supportive and nurturing environment that respects diversity and promotes positive self-esteem.
Collaborate with school counselors, special education staff, and other professionals to address student needs and provide additional support.


Communication & Collaboration:
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and strategies for enhancing student learning.


Administrative Duties:
Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources.
Maintain student records, including attendance, grades, and behavioral reports.
Contribute to school-wide initiatives and activities as needed.


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
