Montessori Academy Bangkok International School seeks a passionate and enthusiastic Elementary Assistant Teacher to join our growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an educator who enjoys working with children, values collaboration, and would like to develop professionally within an authentic Montessori environment.

The Elementary Assistant Teacher supports the Montessori Lead Guide in creating a calm, engaging, and well-prepared classroom community. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job Montessori training and mentorship to grow confidently in the role.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in the daily functioning of the Elementary classroom
- Assist with classroom management and student supervision
- Help prepare and maintain an orderly, inviting learning environment
- Deliver selected lessons and small-group activities under guidance
- Support student wellbeing, independence, and positive social development
- Assist with projects, field trips, and special school activities

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree minimum (Education, English, or related field preferred)
- Native English speaker
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience preferred
- Passion for working with children and helping them thrive
- Positive, dependable, and professional attitude
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently
- Internationally minded and culturally sensitive
- Committed to child safeguarding and school policies

Preferred Qualifications
- Montessori training or Montessori experience
- Project-Based Learning or IB experience
- Special Education qualifications or experience
- Background in child psychology or related field
