Economics & Business Teacher (with IGCSE Extended Maths)
Join RBIS International School, one of Bangkok's longest-standing British curriculum schools, established in 1971. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Economics & Business Teacher to join our secondary team in August 2025.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced teacher who can deliver:
- Economics and Business at Key Stages 4 and 5 (IGCSE & A-Level)
- IGCSE Extended Mathematics
The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence, student engagement, and fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Economics, Business, and Mathematics.
- Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations with a strong focus on analytical skills and problem-solving.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing effective feedback and interventions.
- Contribute to curriculum development and department initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning.
- Engage in school life, including extracurricular activities, trips, and events.
Person Specification
- A UK-qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level Economics and Business is essential.
- Strong ability to teach IGCSE Extended Mathematics.
- International teaching experience and familiarity with ESL learners are an advantage.
- Passionate about student learning and development.
- Adaptable, collaborative, and culturally aware.
Remuneration Package
- Initial two-year contract with a competitive salary.
