Job Summary:
The Early Years Teacher at Ruamrudee International School Ratchapruek Campus is responsible for providing a nurturing and engaging educational experience for young learners. This position involves creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
The Early Years Teacher will implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, assess student progress, and collaborate with parents to ensure the well-being and academic success of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with the school's educational philosophy and meets the needs of early learners.
Create engaging and interactive lessons that promote language development, cognitive skills, socialization, and motor skills.
- Classroom Management:
Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and play.
Implement effective classroom management strategies that encourage positive behavior and social skills.
- Assessment and Reporting:
Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor individual student progress and development.
Provide regular feedback to parents on their child's achievements, challenges, and developmental milestones.
Parent Communication and Collaboration:
Foster positive relationships with parents through regular communication, conferences, and events.
Collaborate with parents to support each child's learning and address any concerns or questions.
- Learning Support and Differentiation:
Identify and address the diverse learning needs of students through individualized instruction and appropriate learning materials.
Collaborate with support staff and specialists to provide additional assistance when needed.
- Health and Safety:
Ensure the well-being and safety of all students in the classroom and on the school premises.
Follow established health and safety protocols, and promptly address any concerns related to student welfare.
- Professional Development:
Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in early childhood education.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field;
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Teaching certification with a focus on early childhood education.
- Proven experience in teaching young children in an early years setting.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education theories.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
