POSITION: EARLY YEARS TEACHER
Highgate International School Thailand will open in August 2026. A premium international school located in the beautiful province of Chonburi, it will cater for students between the ages of 2 and 18.
Operated in partnership with Siam Motors Group and Highgate School, London, staff will enjoy access to a wide range of world-class facilities, to include a full-sized FIFA approved football pitch, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a 450-seater auditorium, a black-box theatre, a STEM building and a Library and Digital Media Centre. They will draw upon a rich academic heritage spanning 460 years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Early Years Teacher will:
Plan, implement and review an engaging and responsive programme of study for a class of capable multi-lingual students based upon either the Early Years and Foundation Stage framework or Key Stage 1 objectives drawn from the English National Curriculum
Record, engage with and utilise both formative and summative attainment data
Foster curiosity, rigour, engagement, enthusiasm, community and kindness among the student population
Work in accordance with school policy and in the wider interests of the school
Contribute positively to a school culture founded upon the considered maintenance of high expectations
Communicate effectively with members of the wider school community
Attend regular meetings and support the safe running of the school campus

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The Early Years Teacher will:
Be a fully qualified early years teacher with QTS
Have a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience
Have a full working knowledge of the English National Curriculum
Have experience of supporting the development of young people who hold English as an additional language
