About the Role
ACACIA International Pre-school – Sathorn Campus is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and qualified Native English-speaking Early Years Teacher to join our French-English bilingual section, which is officially accredited by AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad).
This full-time role focuses exclusively on teaching English to Nursery and Kindergarten 1 (K1) students on alternating days, alongside native French-speaking educators who deliver the core French curriculum.
The successful candidate will support language acquisition and help foster a stimulating, bilingual early childhood environment that aligns with the French National Curriculum for maternelle (early years).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, age-appropriate English instruction for young learners (ages 2–4) in a bilingual setting
- Work collaboratively with French-speaking teachers to support a co-teaching model
- Foster early language development through songs, stories, play, and hands-on activities
- Observe and document student progress and contribute to individual learning support when needed
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and families, respecting the bilingual and multicultural environment
- Participate in planning, team meetings, school events, and professional development sessions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Native English speaker (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood, or a related field (required)
- TEFL, TESOL, or relevant early childhood education certification (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in early years, ideally within a bilingual or international setting
- Warm, nurturing approach with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Culturally sensitive and open to working in a multilingual team
