EAL Teacher
TSI International School Bangkok (Bearing Campus)
In preparation for the opening of our NEW Primary School at TSI Bearing Campus in August, we are currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Teacher to teach EAL. The position may involve teaching students both in our primary and secondary schools (same campus).
The ideal candidate will:
- have a working understanding of the UK curriculum
- have experience in using a structured phonics programme, e.g. Jolly Phonics
- have proven experience in teaching EAL students of various ages
- have a positive, 'can-do' attitude and a collaborative 'team player mindset
- be adaptable, flexible, personable, and a great communicator
- be a native-level English speaker
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Education or equivalent postgraduate teaching qualification from a reputable university (preferably related to Primary, EAL or secondary English teaching).
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years experience teaching in your home country
- Experience teaching students of various ages.
- Experience working with the UK Curriculum.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in EAL education.
- Ability to provide workshops or training sessions for staff to enhance their ability to support EAL students.
- Support whole-school initiatives that encourage awareness and inclusion of students with additional needs.
- Native English speaker

TSI International School has been educating students since 1985 and was one of Bangkok’s first international schools. TSI is a non-profit school governed by a charitable foundation.
