HeadStart is based in the centre of Phuket Island and gained ‘International School’ status in 2010 and is a fully accredited International School with The Education Development Trust (EDT) and we have received the Gold Award in our most recent inspection (2026).
Our curriculum is based on the national curriculum of England, and we offer Cambridge & Pearson qualifications in secondary school, including IGCSEs, A Levels, and BTECs.
Our Chaofah campus has 1000 students and has a waiting list in most year groups. In August 2023, we opened a new campus in the north of the island, Cherngtalay. Having started as a one-form Foundation and Primary school, our Cherngtalay Campus is now a three-form entry Foundation, Primary and Secondary School (KS3 only) for up to 500 students.
Drama Teacher
We are looking to appoint an incredible Drama teacher to join our talented and dynamic team in Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) for August 2027.
CAPA is an integral part of life at HeadStart and we are looking for an excellent drama specialist who also has the experience and vision to direct our impressive CAPA productions across the school.
You will have a proven track record of outstanding teaching, and be passionate about innovative teaching and learning. Drama is taught from Years 7 to 11 currently, using the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. As our sixth form grows, we hope to be able to offer A Level Drama in the future.
You would join us at an exciting time of ambitious facilities development, which over the next few years, will directly impact the performing arts. Whilst we ask a lot from our CAPA specialists, you will be surrounded and supported by an incredible team and the work is immensely rewarding as our students shine bright.
