As an independent, self-employed examiner, you will:
• Assess digital exams from around the world (paid per exam)
• Deliver face-to-face examinations across the region (paid per day/week)
• Participate in mandatory training and standardisation (paid per activity)

Examiners provide a minimum of 15 days’ availability throughout the academic year, typically during key peak periods. While availability is essential, work is not guaranteed.

About you
We welcome applications from inspiring individuals who bring a blend of integrity, expertise, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting performers. You may come from a background in:
• Acting, directing, performance, voice or movement
• Drama teaching or facilitation
• Musical Theatre, Physical Theatre, Dance or Devised work
• Playwriting, production or creative leadership
You will be confident in assessing performance, writing clear and constructive reports, and engaging warmly with candidates of all ages and backgrounds.

Essential Qualities & Experience
• Native or fluent English (CEFR B2 or above, if non-native)
• Strong understanding of dramatic literature across genres and cultures
• Knowledge of musicianship
• Expertise in at least one specialist area such as Direction and production skills, vocal technique, improvisation, mime, Dance, Musical Theatre, Physical Theatre devised theatre, Actor musicianship, Drama practitioners, inclusive of vocal, physical skills and methodologies, Drama pedagogy, Assessment processes
• Excellent communication skills and professional conduct
• Confidence using digital systems
• Current police clearance
• Commitment to safeguarding principles
• Independent, punctual, and reliable working style
Qualifications typically include a relevant degree, industry experience, teaching expertise, and previous experience working with a broad range of learners.
