Director of Aquatics

August 2025 start

This is one of South-East Asia’s top-performing schools providing an exhilarating international education for over 2,000 students between the ages of 3 and 18 set in the context of the British System. Growth and investment continues, creating opportunities for outstanding teachers.

Fully-qualified professionals who have energy, enthusiasm and full commitment to the profession are invited to submit completed application forms. Possessing QTS status or equivalent is not necessary but is advantageous.

This is an opportunity to lead and oversee a popular and expanding aquatics programme with particular responsibility for pool operations, safety and curriculum swimming line managing a team of lifeguards and swim coaches. Swimming is a compulsory part of the PE curriculum in the school but also part of a thriving co curricular programme. The successful candidate would lead on pool safety and operations and work with the curriculum leads in PE to run the curriculum swim programme, and with the Director of Sports and Activities to oversee the co curricular performance swimming programme led by a dedicated Performance Lead.

An excellent package of international benefits is offered, and teachers and families wishing to add an enriching dimension to their lives are warmly encouraged to find out more. The school has the strongest of partnerships with Shrewsbury School UK (www.shrewsbury.org.uk) and enjoys a stunningly spectacular setting on the banks of Bangkok’s Chao Phraya river.
