About Us:
Educating students since 1985, TSI International School was one of Bangkok’s first international schools (previously ‘Thai Sikh International School’).
TSI is a non-profit school governed by a registered not-for-profit foundation. In 2017, the school began a renewal process with new management and a complete review of our Values and Guiding Statements. Since 2017, the school has gone from strength to strength. We continue to experience a significant increase in enrolments as our reputation for providing world-class international schooling continues to grow. In August 2025, we will open our second primary school at our Bearing Campus (current secondary school).
We have moved on from a ‘renewal’ phase and are now firmly entrenched in school improvement and working towards reinstating our fully accredited status with CIS. We recently had Council of International Schools (CIS) evaluators visit both school campuses as a part of their Preparatory Evaluation report. One evaluator posted the following on LinkedIn after the visit:
“My colleague and I spent the week getting to know so many of the dedicated and supportive educators and administrators, as well as the students and parents of this thriving learning community. Truly future-focused learning and teaching was witnessed during our time there.”
They also noted the TSI team was “confidently moving the school forward into its next phase of development.”
TSI International School is a thriving, family-orientated school, and we employ highly committed, western-qualified teachers who facilitate learning founded on the English National Curriculum using engaging inquiry-based teaching strategies.
Both our Wongwianyai and Bearing campuses offer exceptional opportunities for both experienced and recent-graduate teachers.
Aside from the package, why should you join TSI International School?
- We have a great team of staff; friendly, competent and dedicated (Noted by CIS evaluators and another recent leadership consultant who visited the school)
- A strong, cohesive and stable leadership team (CIS feedback) who have been working together for 6+ years at TSI
- A very clear vision for schooling and learning as represented in our Guiding Statements (see our website: www.tsi.ac.th)
- Professional autonomy and trust
- Incredibly strong sense of community and an increasingly diverse mix of nationalities (35 in November 2024). Both of our campuses have a 'family' feel. (Student feedback supports this)
- A non-profit school with a Board of Governors that are committed to returning all funds back into school development
- A commitment to staff development
