King’s College International School Bangkok is a King’s College School Wimbledon International School. We opened in September 2020 for boys and girls and now cater for over 1,600 students aged 2 –18 in Early Years to Year 13, offering IGCSEs, A levels and pathways to the world’s best universities.

The Position:
The school seek to appoint an outstanding Deputy Head (Senior School – Academic) to provide strategic leadership of teaching, learning and academic standards across the Senior School. This is a rare opportunity to shape the academic identity of a young but highly ambitious school, working with talented colleagues and motivated students within a culture that values scholarship, kindness and wisdom.
The successful candidate will play a central role in realising our aspiration to replicate the intellectual rigour, breadth and depth that characterise King’s College School, Wimbledon. They will lead the continued development of an ambitious and coherent curriculum, champion research-informed pedagogy, and ensure that outstanding teaching and learning are experienced consistently across all subject areas and year groups.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (Whole School) and a core member of the Senior School Management Team, the Deputy Head (Academic) will work closely with the Headmaster, Deputy Head (Senior School) and other members of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that academic excellence is fully aligned with pastoral care and co-curricular opportunity. The role combines strategic oversight with a visible presence in classrooms and corridors, and offers the opportunity to teach, mentor and lead in a school that is confident in its direction and excited about its future.
