About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic educator to lead our debate programme and support university guidance within the Academic & Career Service (ACS). This hybrid role strengthens Anglo’s commitment to academic excellence, critical thinking, and global university readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Debate Training & Programme Development
Coach the School Debate Team and Debate CCA students.
Design annual training plans, resources, and competition preparation.
Mentor students in motion analysis, case building, speaking, and strategy.
Coordinate tournaments, selections, and parent communication.
University Guidance
Lead personal statement, SOP, and portfolio writing guidance.
Conduct workshops, small-group sessions, and 1:1 consultations.
Provide detailed feedback to ensure high-quality university applications.
Work closely with ACS counsellors on application alignment.
Camps & Overseas Trips (ACS)
Support planning and execution of selected camps and overseas residential trips.
Liaise with partners, ensure safety procedures, and guide learning objectives.
Professional Collaboration
Maintain student records and progress tracking.
Participate in ACS events, fairs, meetings, and training sessions.
Uphold safeguarding, child protection, and professional standards.
Flexibility to support weekend/evening events when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate or teaching qualifications preferred.
Strong background in competitive debating (WSDC/BP or similar).
Experience coaching teams and supporting university applications.
Prior involvement in camps, trips, or international school settings is an advantage.
