
St. Stephen’s International School, Khao Yai Campus, is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and dynamic Co-Head of Outdoor Education for its Howling Gibbon Outdoor Education Centre to start as soon as possible. The Co-Head of Outdoor Education will be jointly responsible for the provision of outdoor education across the school and for the visiting school programme.
The Howling Gibbon Outdoor Education Centre provides bespoke outdoor learning experiences including environmental education, adventurous and experiential learning and community work.
It is essential to:
• Be able to plan appropriate risk-assessed programmes of outdoor activities.
• Be confident and qualified in a range of outdoor activities.
• Be a native-level English speaker.
• Committed to working flexibly in order to provide an outstanding outdoor education programme.
• Provide three professional referees, one of whom must be your current, or most recent Principal.
It is desirable to:
• Have experience of working in the international sector
• Have experience of successfully teaching mixed groups from age 2 - 18.
• Have experience of leading a range of outdoor education activities such as kayaking, rock climbing, caving, hiking, environmental education
• Be a qualified teacher (e.g. B.Ed. or a first degree and a PGCE).
St. Stephen’s is a boarding school located very close to the World Heritage Site of the Khao Yai National Park, about two hours drive from Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok. The school has a very large and beautiful campus with stunning local scenery, and is well equipped with facilities including a sports field, three tennis courts, a large gymnasium and a 25m swimming pool. St. Stephen's also hosts the Howling Gibbon Outdoor Centre.

Successful overseas candidates for teaching posts will normally be offered:
