Business, Economics and Accounting Teacher (English Program, Secondary Level)

Contract: 12-Month Renewable Contract
About the Role & School
IDEAL English is seeking a dedicated and energetic Business, Economics and Accounting Teacher to join our English Program at Praharuthai Convent School (Robrupasasakol) in central Bangkok.
Our programs are student-centered, engaging, and supportive. You will work in a collaborative environment under the guidance of an experienced Head Teacher and Academic Coordinator.
Teaching Responsibilities & Schedule
Subjects: Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, and Business project-based learning for Secondary students.
Workload: Up to 20 teaching periods per week (50 minutes per period).
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week including lesson planning, administrative duties, and school activities).
Candidate Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
TEFL Certification: TESOL, CELTA, or TEFL (minimum 120 hours with an in-class component).
Language Proficiency:
Native English Speakers (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland).
Non-Native English Speakers with a TOEIC score of 800+ or equivalent.
(South African applicants require a TOEIC score of 800+ per local visa requirements).
Skills & Attributes: Comfortable teaching Oxford AQA Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, and supervising integrated business projects.
Availability: Currently residing in Thailand (or able to relocate promptly) and available to start in October or November 2026.
Salary & Benefits Package
Probation Salary (3 months): THB 43,000 – 45,000 / month
Post-Probation Salary: THB 45,000 – 47,000 / month
Bonus: Performance-based end-of-contract bonus + annual performance increments.
Visa & Work Permit: Full non-B visa and work permit sponsorship/support.
Paid Leave: 20 days paid annual leave + 13 public holidays (including Christmas).
