Garden International School, Rayong, presents an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and successful school on Thailand’s beautiful Eastern Seaboard. We are seeking an experienced individual to further develop our provision for students with Special Educational Needs and English as an Additional Language. The Assistant Head (Inclusion) is a key member of the Whole School Academic Leadership Team and works closely with both the Head of Primary and the Head of Secondary. This position will commence in August 2025.

We are looking for an energetic and experienced leader to take on this important role. The successful candidate will also have a teaching role.

Our school offers a vibrant and diverse extracurricular programme, and we particularly welcome candidates who can coach sports such as football, swimming, basketball, and volleyball. Additionally, we are actively developing our Model United Nations programme and the International Duke of Edinburgh Award, and we encourage enthusiastic staff to contribute to these initiatives.

About Us:

Garden International School is a coeducational school with approximately 520 students from Early Years to Year 13. Representing over 40 nationalities, we follow an educational framework based on the English National Curriculum, leading to IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Many of our students have English as an Additional Language and benefit from strong support from our EAL department.

We have a small boarding facility and a strong sense of community. Class sizes are generally small, with well-motivated students who are engaged in their learning and supported by their families. Our academic results are consistently impressive, with around 90% of students achieving five or more A-C grades at IGCSE* and an IB average point score of 31.

Ban Chang is a semi-rural coastal town in Rayong Province, just 2 hours from Bangkok and 30–40 minutes from Pattaya and Rayong city.
