The successful candidate will contribute to the effective day-to-day organisation of Pre Prep, supporting quality assurance, staff development, student experience and the implementation of Lower School priorities. Experience and qualifications
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
Appropriate degree with UK PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Minimum five years' teaching experience
Middle leadership experience is essential
Proven experience of supporting leadership or improvement within a school setting
Strong understanding of primary/pre prep education and effective pedagogy
Knowledge of the relevant curriculum
Ability to support colleagues in developing effective teaching and learning
Ability to monitor practice and provide constructive feedback
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to coach and support colleagues
An outstanding classroom practitioner and role model
Commitment to educating the whole child
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student wellbeing
Positive, collaborative and solution-focused approach
Respect for all members of the school community
Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular or enrichment activities
Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language is desirable
