Job Title: Western Music Teacher

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Western Music Teacher to join our school and inspire students with the richness of Western music traditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Western music, including classical, jazz, and contemporary styles, and will be adept at teaching students of various skill levels. This role involves developing music curricular, leading classes, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages musical growth and appreciation.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction: Teach Western music theory, history, and performance to students at various levels, from beginners to advanced.
Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging and age-appropriate music curricula, incorporating a range of Western music genres and techniques.
Performance Preparation: Prepare students for performances, including solo and group recitals, school concerts, and other events.
Assessment: Evaluate and assess students’ progress through regular testing, performance evaluations, and feedback.
Classroom Management: Create a respectful and supportive classroom environment that promotes student participation and growth.
Professional Development: Stay updated on new teaching methods, music trends, and educational tools to enhance the music program.
Collaboration: Work closely with other faculty members, parents, and the community to support and promote the music program.
