Job Description for TGT English Teacher (CBSE curriculum)

Qualification: BA, MA in English with B.Ed. with 1 to 2 years experience in a CBSE School.

1. Planning and delivering lessons: The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students. This involves developing lesson plans, selecting appropriate teaching materials, and delivering lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of all students.

2. Assessing student progress: The teacher must regularly assess student progress in English subject, using a range of assessment methods such as tests, quizzes, writing assignments, and oral presentations. This involves analyzing and interpreting data on student performance and using this information to adjust teaching methods and provide additional support where necessary.

3.Good communication skills and able to host events and programs

4. Providing feedback and support: The teacher must provide feedback to students on their performance in English subject and offer support where needed. This involves identifying areas where students may be struggling and providing additional resources and guidance to help them improve.
