Here at SPIP, we are seeking an amazing science teacher that specialises in physics. This candidate should be someone who can ignite a spark of curiosity and passion in their students for the natural world around them. They must have a deep understanding of the subject matter and be able to convey this knowledge in a way that is easily understandable and relatable.

This science teacher should be a creative thinker, coming up with engaging experiments and activities that make the subject matter come alive for their students. They must be dedicated to their craft, always seeking out the latest research and developments in the field to incorporate into their lessons. With a friendly and engaging personality. Successful candidates will be working with an exceptionally dedicated team of teachers, and a department that inspires our students to love science, but also fosters a lifelong love of learning.

Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality, engaging Physics and science lessons to secondary school students
Planning and preparing lesson materials and resources in line with the national curriculum
Setting and grading assessments, tests, and exams
Tracking student progress and providing constructive feedback to students and parents
Participating in school-wide events and initiatives, such as parent-teacher conferences and extracurricular activities

Requirements:
A degree in Physics or a related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Experience teaching Physics to secondary school students
Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with EAL learners is an advantage
The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
