Being a fantastic mathematics teacher here at SPIP requires a combination of skills, qualities, and a genuine passion for teaching. Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students from Year 7 to Year 13
Use a range of teaching techniques and resources to engage students and promote learning
Set appropriate homework and assess student work regularly to monitor progress
Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their full potential
Attend and contribute to departmental meetings and school-wide events
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues


Requirements:
A degree in Maths or a related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Maths
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students
Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment and supporting students to achieve their full potential
Experience working with EAL learners is an advantage
Experience coaching students for external competitions is desirable
