We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic kindergarten teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional development of young children. The teacher will implement age-appropriate educational programs that align with the school's curriculum and educational philosophy, ensuring that every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that engage and inspire children in literacy, numeracy, and other foundational skills.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes learning, cooperation, and respect among students.
- Utilize creative teaching methods, including play-based learning, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling to encourage holistic development.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations, and providing feedback to parents during regular parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain open communication with parents, caregivers, and school staff to ensure each child's well-being and progress.
- Organize and supervise classroom activities, outdoor play, and educational field trips.
- Address the individual needs of students, providing extra support where necessary.
- Ensure the classroom is safe, clean, and well-organized.
- Stay up-to-date with early childhood education best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of the kindergarten program.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership on curriculum development and school events.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Proven experience as a kindergarten teacher or in a similar early childhood teaching role.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and create a positive learning environment.
Work Environment:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday. 07.45 - 15.45
- Classroom setting with periods of outdoor supervision and activities.
