Job Duties
•Participate in all education and training requested by the class teacher and the campus leaders, including reading, attending instructional sessions, and practicing the lessons.
•Follow the classroom expectations and standards for class management, role model respect and courtesy,.
•Display professional behavior throughout the whole school environment.
•Participate in the preparation and care of the Kofa environment as directed by the principals.
•Prepare the English activities according to the Kofa standards for materials and lessons.
•Follow the teacher’s educational planning for individual children. Meet with the teacher weekly, at a minimum, for review of children progress and to plan English lessons with the teacher. The Kofa teachers’ plans are based on scope and sequence in the Frameworks.
•Observe children and maintain notes based on the Kofa teacher’s practices.
•Maintain records on children’s activities and progress. Daily / weekly records are submitted to the homeroom teacher to record.
•Provide support for all children, colleagues and environment needs on the campus as requested.
•Participate in all school events during school hours, afterschool hours and on weekends as scheduled in the annual calendar.
•Participate in online professional activities as requested.
Requirements
Meets Kofa employee requirements, including China visa/work permits.
• Holds a bachelor’s degree
• Qualifies as an English native speaker to be employed as a teacher or English language specialist based on government classification
• Educational background and/or teaching experience with early childhood to lower elementary required.
• Willingness to work collaborative and within cultural norms.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
• Optional: Training or certification as ESL teacher
Age of students: 1.5-6 Years Old
Working Time: Full time, 7:50-13:10am; 14:30-17:10pm, Monday – Friday.
Benefits
Gross salary ranging from 20000rmb- 30000rmb monthly
