The Australian International School of Bangkok is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the Human Resources Department
Work with the Director to ensure that HR Procedures are documented, carried out effectively and that HR documentation is thorough and complete.
1.1 Provide Assistance to the Director regarding HR Matters
• Advise on Thai Labor Law requirements and practices;
1.2 Develop HR processes and manage HR duties;
(a) Non-teaching staff and Sessional Teachers
• Manage and conduct all stages of the employment process and associated documentation from job advertisement to contract renewal and conclusion.
• Work with the Director to identify and provide training for Teaching Assistants and non-teaching staff.
(b) Teaching Staff (Teachers)
• Assist the Director by reviewing and approving employment documentation prior to submission to teachers;
• Keep the database for expatriate work permits and follow up with the Administration Officer (Immigration)
Essential Requirements
• Thai Nationality
• Must have a Bachelor Degree in a related field.
• Must have very good English language ability.
• Must have an excellent working knowledge of Thai Labour Law
• Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and manage staff.
• Must be able to manage time and work without close supervision.
• Must have strong “team building skills’.
