Job overview
An outstanding and inspirational Computer Science Teacher is required from August 2025. This role involves teaching computing and computer science and also encompasses Technology Integration to support the use of tech in teaching and learning across the school. The Role:
We are seeking an exceptional, qualified teacher, who is able to teach Computer Science to IGCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, who can develop strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents. Amongst other things, we are looking for an individual who is well organised, has a good sense of humour and wants to participate fully in the wider life of the school. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of teaching and learning in your department, and for encouraging a culture of inspiration, enjoyment, and success in your classroom. Our teachers enjoy collaboration therefore, good interpersonal skills and enjoyment of teamwork are essential.

As Technology Integration Manager you will oversee the school's wider implementation of technology teaching and learning and training staff to make the most of the opportunities that technology gives us. The school has a large and successful robotics programme and an interest in supporting and developing that would be essential.

Tasks would include:
Manage ICT resources, budget, and expenses, reporting to the Director.
Plan and implement policies for appropriate use of technology among staff and students, promoting integration into teaching and learning.
Provide training and support to staff and students on technology integration initiatives and to ensure the development of technology-rich curriculum and instructional strategies..
Lead the development of a clear and achievable school IT vision and strategic plan.
Participate in regional IT meetings and projects.
Collaborate with the network administrator to facilitate regular maintenance, resolve hardware/software failures, and implement housekeeping tasks.
Evaluate and recommend educational software and tools to enhance teaching and learning.
