Position: Full-time English Language Teacher (1 position)
Location: Faculty of Management Science, Silpakorn University, City Campus, Bangrak, Bangkok

Benefits:

• One-year contract.
• Salary is negotiable based on teaching experience.
• Work permit will be covered by the Faculty of Management Science upon receipt of a clean Non-B visa.
• Extra teaching hours may be allocated, with additional pay provided for these hours.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a creative and cooperative English language teacher to join our team. Key duties include:
• Teaching English to Thai undergraduate students studying in the field of business management.
• Preparing lessons, marking homework, and classwork.
• Preparing, administering, and marking placement, progress, and achievement tests.
• Assessing and reporting students' performance.
• Developing supplementary materials for core syllabi or special courses/projects.
• Attending staff meetings and/or workshops arranged by senior staff.
• Assisting with the administration of examinations.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in linguistics, teaching English, or a related field.
• TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or other relevant teaching certifications (preferred).
• For non-native English speakers (excluding Thais), proof of English proficiency with an IELTS (academic module) score of 7.0 overall, a TOEFL iBT score of 94-101, or a CEFR score of C1 or higher.
• Familiarity with Thai working culture.
• A diligent work ethic and willingness to assist and support the team when needed.
• Previous teaching experience, particularly in a university setting, is an advantage.
• The successful applicant will be expected to teach general English and English for specific purposes (eg, English for business communication, English for innovation management, English for marketing) to Thai undergraduate students at City Campus, Bangrak, Bangkok, be able to use basic Microsoft Office (eg Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google Classroom, and Zoom Meeting.
