Experience working with Chinese teenagers or students from non-native English backgrounds is an advantage.
Experience in guiding students prepare art portfolios is an advantage.

Overview:
The role will concentrate on art education in middle school and high school. Experience in teaching IB programs and guiding students prepare portfolios is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
Conduct hands-on art lessons in the art studio, engaging students through practice.
Assess, record, and report on student progress through assessments, providing timely feedback for improvement for students and parents.
Analyze students’ results and assessments to inform future teaching practices and support student achievement.
Provide pastoral care and academic support to students, ensuring their well being and success in art.
Supervise students during lunch, study hall, and night study preparation sessions and undertake safeguarding supervision duties, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
Communicate effectively with Chinese teenagers, understanding their unique needs and ensuring concepts are clearly understood, even for those who may not be fully conversant in English.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behaviour, and other concerns.
Teach Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) , fostering the holistic development of students outside of the core curriculum.
Conduct field trips to enhance students’ experiential learning and connect classroom lessons to the real world.
Help plan and organize the school’s art fairs, ensuring that students can present their learning through exhibitions and displays of their artistic work and projects.
Help students prepare their art portfolios for college application.
Participate actively in school life, including attending school events, open days, and parent-teacher conferences, contributing to school publications.
Administrative duties as assigned, such as tutorship.
