Role
Based at our small Rama IV office and reporting to The Bright Group Managing Director, the successful candidate will manage the BitS (Thailand) English Department effectively to grow the business in line with departmental strategy while achieving yearly and monthly sales targets.
Main Duties
• Teaches up to 10 hours per week in office hours. (Any additional hours or hours taught after office hours are paid at 600THB per hour.)
• Recruits suitably qualified and experienced teachers in a timely manner.
• Works with Sales Teams to develop effective Sales Plans targeting existing and new business using a structured approach that is easy to understand and implement.
• Meets regularly with the sales team to review sales plans and make recommendations.
• Gives sales presentations to potential clients.
• Produces effective proposals in response to client requests for English training within the agreed timeframe.
• Designs English course outlines that meet the client-defined requirements.
• Maintains an updated record of on-going training.
• Other duties not yet assigned but necessary for the effective management of the English Department.
Qualifications
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Holds a CELTA or Trinity TESOL teaching qualification.
• Has at least three years’ experience teaching English as a second language.
• Can utilize technology effectively.
• Can speak and understand Thai or is willing to learn.
• Is culturally sensitive in the management of Thai staff.
• Own transport an advantage.
